NEZ continues to put out some of the most exciting craft flower in Illinois, and Dulce de Uva is a perfect example of why. This hybrid immediately stands out with its loud grape-forward aroma, dense frosty buds, and smooth flavor that carries through the entire smoke. It’s the kind of flower that delivers on both the nose and the experience, making it an easy standout in the NEZ lineup.
Strain Lineage:
Grape Pie × OG Kush
Dulce de Uva combines the sweet, fruity character of Grape Pie with the earthy, gassy influence of OG Kush. The result is a flavorful hybrid that brings together grape candy sweetness with deeper kush notes for a profile that has plenty of character.
Appearance:
Dulce de Uva has serious bag appeal. The buds are dense and tightly packed, covered in a thick layer of frosty trichomes with deep green tones and noticeable purple hues throughout. Bright orange pistils add contrast, while the heavy resin coverage gives the flower that sticky, fresh look you want to see from premium craft flower.
Aroma & Flavor:
Crack open the jar and the grape comes through immediately. There’s a strong combination of sweet grape candy, fruity notes, and a doughy sweetness backed by subtle earthy and gassy undertones. On the inhale, the grape flavor really shines, bringing a sweet and almost candy-like taste that carries smoothly into the exhale. The finish adds a little kushy earth and gas, giving the profile more depth without taking away from the grape.
This is definitely a strain for anyone who loves loud, fruit-forward terps. The flavor stays noticeable throughout the smoke and makes every session enjoyable from start to finish.
Effects:
Dulce de Uva brings on a euphoric cerebral lift that quickly puts you into a happy and relaxed headspace. As the effects build, a warm body relaxation follows without completely taking away your ability to stay engaged. It’s calming without feeling overly heavy, making it a great choice for relaxing after work, hanging out with friends, or settling into a laid-back evening.
The combination of euphoria and body relaxation gives Dulce de Uva a really nice balance and makes it an easy strain to come back to.

Dulce de Uva by NEZ is one of those strains that checks almost every box for me. The flower looks great, the jar has an incredible grape-forward nose, and the flavor stays strong throughout the smoke. Add in the balanced euphoric and relaxing effects, and you have a strain that really delivers from beginning to end.
